Opps I'm a little late

oh hey look it's the halfway mark!

I looked at my settings again and didn't mind anything abnormal, so I'm not sure what's stopping you from messaging me. If you haven't tried already you can send me a friend request.

If those don't work, I created a discord server for the purpose of getting in contact. https://discord.gg/VzWbE48bZ6 . Just ping me once you've joined!

Thanks!

Hello!

I love this little game, I'm super into WW2 medic content and games that feature medics, and I initially tried this game about a year or so ago. I tried to make a game like this in Twine and tried to create a story, but I'm horrible with code and couldn't figure out how to make an inventory system.

I was wondering if I could get access to a copy of this story so I can see how to make a proper inventory system, and also expand upon the story that you've already wrote down.

If you're seeing this even though it has been 6 years since this was released, please reach out to me over my discord Bestmedi4756#1696. If you don't have a discord but would still like to talk do let me know.

Thanks!

it's cool lol, school is a huge hassle. I'll make sure to check back next year.

Really dig this!

it has been 2 years.

I love this game! There are for sure not enough games about being a war medic. I know that this is a prototype, but I have some suggestions if you still plan on giving this game some more work:

-The enemy models look too futuristic, while the teammates look ww2 styled. I like the ww2 style of the teammates, the enemies should look like ww2 German infantry.

-If the game is given more levels, you should have more teammates to take care over, and enemies should spawn with their own medics.

-If you press use medpack you should hold the medpack out instead of just instantly using it so that way you can use the medpack on a specific unit and not just a AOE instant heal (I assume that's what it is)

-Enemies should not target you and should only target your allies. You can still get hit if you walk infront of enemies but they shouldn't target you because you have the red cross insignia, making it a war crime to shoot at the player.

-Realistically, medics in ww2 did not have any command authority over other infantry units. So to change it up, the soldiers should try and "capture" the flags and then move forwards automatically. Maybe like "Press X to start" at the start of the level to begin, but the soldiers move automatically after that.

-Variations in friendly units, like support with LMGS or officers with pistols or SMGs, etc etc.

Just some ideas, I love the concept and hope that more is added to it. Thanks for the experience!

could you make it to where I can drag wounded so I can bring them to a better spot before I heal them?

I can't get this to open

Do you guys have a public discord? If so can you put the link somewhere?

I really like this game! I had a few ideas though, as the game is very simplistic and could use some more creative elements:

What if some allies could get wounded out in the open, and you be able to drag them to cover? IMO that would be cooler than treating people at cover

I can't really find what the backup soldier does, as even when they get shot the bullet they where hit by can still hurt you. Maybe the backup soldier can absorb a hit?

What about a backup medic? While the backup medic is alive, treat patients faster or something.

Anyways, good game! Had fun. Hope to see more updates!

One last thing, I wish there were more soldiers than just "James Ryan". if you could add more than just one name that would be awesome.

I absolutely love this game. One issue I have is that I feel like bandaging a patient is next to useless. It's usually way faster to just drag them to a bed than sit there and bandage.

To make bandages more useful, here's a few ideas:

Bandaging should be made quicker

Bandaging should stop bleeding (maybe it go down just a little, but for the most part nearly completely stop)

I feel like what the bandage should be doing is allow you to stop a soldiers bleeding while you go out a grab another wounded ally. At the current state, it is just a lot better to drop the first one at the hospital and then go grab the second patient, which I dislike because then the bandage has no use.

Nonetheless I love this game and I hope it gets updates! Thanks for reading.
